William Shepherd is a cynical, near broken detective looking for absolution in a city built atop of the ashes of New York City decades after a massive war. Scouring through the digital networks with an artificially intelligent environment named NOVA, Detective William Shepherd searches daily for any piece of information that might give him a clue as to who murdered his brother and why. Along the way, he is partnered with a family relic from a long ago past that was seemingly forgotten; a military first generation Self-Aware-Tactical-Android that stands over a foot taller than himself that has developed several personality quirks from watching too many “historical archives” while being plugged in. With his new partner, William must navigate the seedy underside of the city he works in to find the answers he seeks. Clinging to the hope that one day he will bring peace to his brother’s memory, as well as peace within himself, William realizes he must face his own family past as he confronts the stark reality that nothing is ever as it seems.

4.5 ⭐️I'm gonna begin by telling you my exacts thoughts while reading this book: "What have I done?!"
While reading the book at first I was intrigued by the world building and wanting to know what the plot was, but then I met Anthony ("Sparky") and after that I remember reading the book till there were no pages left.
Titanium Dreams it's set in a futuristic post-war world and then it propels itself to a series of mixed feelings from sad to funny, from betrayal to unexpected alliances, from truth to lies and so many plot twists that you will feel like your in a roller coaster. It's the perfect balance. But I think that what I loved the most was that the characters were so well written that I could connect with them.
This story started by being just ok to being amazing. It grab my soul and didn't want to let go, and even though I feel that this world has so much more to offer it doesn't matter if the author decides to left this story as a stand alone or continue with it, I just can't wait till I get my hands in another story written by D.W. Eppers

It’s an interesting read. You can easily picture the players in your minds eye.
Beautiful cover! Just started the book and really enjoy it so far.
I had a hard time putting this down and stayed up late several nights to keep reading. That's always a good sign! Very real and likable characters, believable world, and captivating story. I will be reading it again for sure.
Fun and suspenseful! I had a great time reading this! I enjoyed the author's view of the future of technology and artificial intelligence specifically.

Of a certainty the young first time author of this book has a good foundation to build upon . in this age where digital the is everywhere moving us past today into future of possibilities was successful by the story telling skill of the author. The story draws you in and keeps you moving forward at a steady pace. Well done DW.😁
